"From the high bank, Teresio – my fly fishing mentor – was particularly amused by my clumsy teenage endeavors, so stubbornly determined to catch a single fish. He asked me which flies I had tried and handed me an unfamiliar wet fly tied with some shiny mottled barbs that were unfamiliar to me. He suggested I cast across the fish’s location, retrieve the fly, swinging it right over the head of the unruly Salmonidae."

From Armando Quazzo's excellent article on tying with the Coq Pardo feather in last issue including a step by step tutorial... 2018 Volume 2...available here.
